Adapter that enables P-Tap power sources to be used with a conventional Sony L battery. The “dummy” battery isn’t actually dumb. It's a stand-in so the camera still thinks there’s a battery connected, but the attached cable connects to a larger P-tap power source for longer shooting times. Pretty smart, actually.
